Having fun!

Dunblane Community Pre-school is all about having fun. Children enjoy a good balance of free play and more structured group activities such as stories, singing, and walks in the community. The large garden is one of the pre-school’s greatest assets and we have excellent community links. Every year we organise visits from the fire service, dental nurse, police, and music teachers as well as trips to Doune ponds, the bike park and the safari park.

And, while the focus is on having fun, the Government's Curriculum for Excellence provides a framework for us to help children develop language, numeracy, co-ordination and creativity.

Parents are always encouraged to bring whatever skills they have to pre-school and get involved in any way they can!
